Holidays in Oban
Oban, the capital of North Argyll. Is a busy ferry and railway terminal (with a branch link to the West Highland Line) and a very popular tourist and family holiday/short break destination. It has a wide range of shops and supermarkets, banks etc., many excellent places to eat out, a cinema and Post Office. It is the ideal centre for exploring the beautiful scenery of North Argyll or to stop overnight if you are on your way to the islands. Ferries leave Oban for Islay, Colonsay, Coll, Tiree, Mull, Lismore, Barra and South Uist. Oban is also a busy fishing port, and a variety of ships can usually be found tied up to the town's two piers.
Group Travel to Scotland provides an opportunity to experience the most stunning scenery in the world, a rich and diverse history, unlimited sporting and outdoor activities, and wonderfully unique and exclusive venues.
We welcome both organised groups and private groups visiting Scotland, as well as coach tours, large and small. We partner with many Scottish and UK group tour operators. Our group tour operators like us because each of their party is treated as much as an individual as part of a group, there is no herd culture here. Groups are defined as parties of 10 or more guests in a single reservation.
